The performance vaulted Pavin, seeking his first Champions Tour win, into a one-shot lead over Nick Price. Price notched six birdies for a six under 66 and was alone in second place at 12-under 132.

Tied for third were Fred Couples and Larry Mize at 11-under 133. Both former PGA legends shot 66s on Saturday. Couples was looking to continue his Champions Tour hot streak after winning two of his first three career starts on the circuit.
