NHL: Pittsburgh 4, Philadelphia 1

PITTSBURGH, March 27 (UPI) -- Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 26 shots and Sidney Crosby racked up three assists Saturday, leading the Pittsburgh Penguins to a 4-1 win over Philadelphia.

Fluery was 26-of-27 in nets and Ruslan Fedotenko notched a goal and a helper as the Penguins clinched a spot in the playoffs with their first win in four games. The victory pushed Pittsburgh past New Jersey into first place in the Atlantic Division.

The Devils were to play Montreal later Saturday.

Pittsburgh also got tallies from Chris Kunitz, Pascal Dupuis and Matt Cooke in the win.

Arron Asham registered the Flyers' lone goal in Philadelphia's fifth straight loss. Netminder Johan Backlund appeared in his first NHL game, making 22 saves before leaving with a lower-body injury in the second period.
