NBA: Indiana 98, Detroit 83

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., March 23 (UPI) -- Danny Granger pumped in 32 points and Brandon Rush added 20 Tuesday, keying the Indiana Pacers' 98-83 victory over Detroit.

The loss eliminated the Pistons from the NBA playoff picture, ending an 8-year post-season run.

Mike Dunleavy contributed 13 points, Earl Watson distributed 13 assists and Troy Murphy registered a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards as Indiana won its third straight.

Tayshaun Prince paced the Pistons with 14 points and DaJuan Summers contributed 12 in the loss.

Detroit lost point guard Will Bynum to a first-quarter back injury and head Coach John Kuester was ejected in frustration over the team's seventh straight defeat.

The Pistons have lost all four games against the Pacers this season.
