NHL: Buffalo 2, New York 1 (OT)

NEW YORK, March 7 (UPI) -- Patrick Kaleta scored on his own rebound 2:22 into overtime Sunday, lifting the Buffalo Sabres to a 2-1 win over New York.

On the winning play, Kaleta skated down the right side and fired a shot at Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist, picked up the rebound behind the net managed to slip it past the netminder on the second try.

Adam Mair collected the Sabres' regulation goal and Ryan Miller stopped 35 shot as Buffalo won its first road game since Jan. 18.

New York got its goal from Brandon Dubinsky, who chipped in a rebound off a Michael Del Zotto shot with 1:23 left in the contest to force overtime.

The Rangers have dropped three in a row following a three-game win streak.
