OTTAWA, March 6 (UPI) -- Phil Kessel got the shootout game-winner as well as Toronto's only regulation goal, pacing the Maple Leafs to a 2-1 win over Ottawa Saturday.

Kessel's shootout marker past Pascal Leclaire proved the winner after Toronto goalie Jonas Gustavsson made a stop on Ottawa's Jason Spezza and the Maple Leafs' Nikolai Kulemin sealed the win with another shootout goal.

Chris Neil got Ottawa's only goal while Leclaire stopped 30 shots for the Senators, losers of four of their last five games.
