COL BKB: Brigham Young 107, TCU 77

FORT WORTH, Texas, March 6 (UPI) -- Jonathan Tavernari, Jackson Emery and Charles Abouo teamed up for 67 points Saturday as No. 15 Brigham Young pounded TCU 107-77.

Tavernari scored 23 points while Emery and Abouo each poured in 22 points as the Cougars (28-4, 13-3 MWC) ended the regular season by winning their sixth in seven games, nailing down the second seed in the upcoming Mountain West Conference tournament.

The Horned Frogs (13-18, 5-11) got 17 points from Ronnie Moss poured in 17 while Zvonko Buljan contributed 11 points with six boards. Greg Hill, Nikola Cerina and Edvinas Ruzgas each netted 10 in the defeat.

TCU dropped four of its last five games to end the year.
