NBA: San Antonio 113, Phoenix 110

SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Tim Duncan put in 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Sunday, lifting the San Antonio Spurs to a 113-110 victory over Phoenix.

Manu Ginobili had a big day of the bench, scoring 21 points, distributing eight assists and grabbing six boards, while Richard Jefferson ended with 20 points for San Antonio.

Tony Parker added 16 points and Antonio McDyess chipped in with 12 points for the Spurs, who had won only once in four games coming into Sunday's contest.

Amare Stoudemire poured in a season-high 41 points and pulled down 12 caroms for the Suns. Jason Richardson (20 points) missed a potential game-tying dunk in the final seconds, while Steve Nash chipped in with 18 points and 11 assists in the loss.
