NBA: Golden State 95, Detroit 88

OAKLAND, Calif., Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Stephen Curry scored 27 points and Golden State used an 8-0 game-ending run Saturday to post a 95-88 decision over Detroit.

Anthony Tolliver added 19 points off the bench and pulled down 14 rebounds while C.J. Watson contributed 17 points and eight boards in the Warriors' win.

Detroit was leading 88-87 with 1:58 left in the game when Tolliver hit a layup to give Golden State a lead it wouldn't relinquish. Free throws by Ronny Turiaf and Watson extended the advantage to three and the Warriors held the Pistons scoreless the rest of the way.

Tayshaun Prince led Detroit with 18 points and eight assists, while Rodney Stuckey contributed 17 and Richard Hamilton chipped in with 16 in the defeat.
