COL BKB: Gonzaga 75, San Francisco 69

SPOKANE, Wash., Feb. 27 (UPI) -- Elias Harris scored 17 points Saturday to lift No. 15 Gonzaga to the West Coast Conference title with a 75-69 win over San Francisco.

Steven Gray contributed 15 points while Robert Sacre added 13 and Matt Bouldin chipped in with 11 as the Bulldogs (24-5, 12-2 WCC) claimed the conference title outright after nailing down a share of it with a win over Santa Clara this week.

Gonzaga won the WCC title for the 10th consecutive year, the longest such winning streak in the nation.

USF (12-17, 7-7) got within three points at 70-67 with 2:40 to go in the game, but Gray drained two clutch free throws to give Gonzaga a two-possession lead with 1:41 to play. Another key free throw by Sacre with 17.5 seconds to play put the Bulldogs up 73-69 and essentially sealed the win.

The Dons were led by Dior Lowhorn with 17 points while Moustapha Diarra added 15 points in the loss.
