Olympic Medal: M 500m Short Track

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Charles Hamelin of Canada won the Olympic gold medal Friday in the 500-meter short-track speed-skating race.

Si-Bak Sung of South Korea received the silver and Francois-Louis Tremblay of Canada took the bronze.

American Apolo Anton Ohno was disqualified for bumping Tremblay during a pass on the final turn.
