NBA: Chicago 115, Portland 111 (OT)

CHICAGO, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Luol Deng netted seven points in overtime and Derrick Rose poured in 33 Friday, sparking the Chicago Bulls to a 115-111 overtime win over Portland.

After Chicago spotted Portland's Brandon Roy the first basket in overtime, the Bulls responded with six straight points on baskets from Kirk Hinrich, Deng and Taj Gibson to put the game away.

The contest was sent into overtime after Roy drove the court and hit a floater for a tie with 16 seconds left and Rose missed a high-arching layup for the Bulls as time expired.

Deng ended with 23 points while Rose went 15-of-25 from the field as the Bulls won for the sixth time in seven games. Hinrich chipped in with 17 points and Hakim Warrick contributed 15 in the victory.

LaMarcus Aldridge led the Trailblazers with 32 points and seven rebounds while Roy contributed 23 points and Andre Miller chipped in 14 points and seven assists in the loss.
