NBA: Minnesota 91, Miami 88

MIAMI, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Jonny Flynn's layup with 38 seconds left to play was the game winner Tuesday in the Minnesota Timberwolves 91-88 win over Miami.

Flynn finished with 16 points and Kevin Love had 17 points and 12 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who won for the first time in their last seven games.

Ryan Gomes had 13 points and eight rebounds, Wayne Ellington scored 12 and Al Jefferson had 10 points to go with 11 rebounds for Minnesota.

Dorell Wright -- who connected on six 3-point attempts -- had a career-high 26 points and collected seven rebounds for the Heat, who lost their second straight.
