Durant maintains 2-shot Mayakoba lead

PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Mexico, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Joe Durant maintained a two-shot lead Saturday after three rounds of the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun.

Durant entered the day with a two-stroke lead and shot a two-under 69, finishing 54 holes at 14-under-par 199 -- two strokes ahead of two players tied for second at El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.

Durant has held the lead after all three rounds. Tied for second at 12-under 201 were Charles Warren, who carded a 6-under 65 Saturday, and J.P. Hayes, who posted a 2-under 69 in round three.

In fourth place were Chad Collins, who fired a 4-under 67, and Cameron Beckman, who posted a 69 in the third round. They stood at 11-under 202 after 54 holes.
