MORGANTOWN, W.Va., Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Kevin Jones scored 16 points and added nine rebounds in leading No. 8 West Virginia to a 75-63 win Saturday over Seton Hall.
Devin Ebanks contributed another 16 points and six rebounds to give the Mountaineers (21-5, 10-4 Big East) their second straight victory.
West Virginia saw its lead slip to four before coming on in the final minutes, helped by Da'Sean Butler, who added 14 on the day, including two free throws with 8:40 left in the game to give West Virginia a 64-46 advantage.
Seton Hall scored 14 consecutive points in the second half and West Virginia went 6 minutes without scoring before kicking back into gear and hitting 7-of-8 shots to boost its lead to 71-60.
West Virginia put the first 10 points on the board and led 16-11 with 11 minutes left in the first half. By halftime, the Mountaineers led 41-26 and expanded their lead by as much as 20 in the second half.
Jeff Robinson led Seton Hall (15-10, 6-8), with 14 points. Jeremy Hazell contributed nine.
