NBA: East 141, West 139

ARLINGTON, Texas, Feb. 15 (UPI) -- Dwyane Wade had 28 points, 11 assists, six rebounds and five steals Sunday to lead the East to a 141-139 win over the West in the NBA All-Star Game.

The Miami Heat star was named MVP of the contest, played before 108,713 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas -- the largest crowd ever to watch a basketball game.

Cleveland's LeBron James scored 25 and Chris Bosh -- a Dallas native who plays for the Toronto Raptors -- had 23 points and 10 rebounds. Bosh sealed the victory when he hit two free throws with 5 seconds remaining to play.

Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets had a chance to win it for the West but his 3-point shot as time expired fell short. Anthony finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds.

Dirk Nowitzki of the Dallas Mavericks tied the score at 139-139 when he hit two free throws with 7.7 left but the West sent Bosh to the line on a foul by Denver's Chauncey Billups and Bosh made both free throws.
