NHL: Detroit 4, Ottawa 1

DETROIT, Feb. 13 (UPI) -- Pavel Datsyuk and Dan Cleary each scored a goal Saturday to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 4-1 victory over Ottawa.

The Red Wings also got tallies from Kirk Maltby and Johan Franzen in the win, their first in four games, while Jimmy Howard made 29 saves.

After Peter Regin's goal at 8:13 of the second period pulled Ottawa to within 2-1, Cleary got the goal back three minutes later on a Todd Bertuzzi pass.

Elliott made 36 saves in the loss, the second in four games after the Senators' 11-game winning streak was snapped.
