Monta Ellis, Golden State's leading scorer at 26.2 points per game, missed the contest with a knee injury. There were plenty of points to be found, however, from a team that launched 79 shots and made 62 percent of them.

Curry scored 36 points, Tolliver had 29 and Morrow 26. They combined to hit 31-of-54 shots.

Golden State outscored the Clippers by 18 points in both the first and third periods.

Los Angeles was led by Al Thornton with 18.
