NBA: Cleveland 104, New Jersey 97

CLEVELAND, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- LeBron James poured in 32 points and distributed 11 assists Tuesday, carrying the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 104-97 victory over New Jersey.

James was 13-of-21 from the floor.

Jawad Williams added a career-high 17 points as the Cavs notched their 12th straight win, the longest victory string in the NBA so far this season, beating earlier 11-game streaks by Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers.

Cleveland also got 15 points and nine rebounds from Anderson Varejao and 11 points from Daniel Gibson.

New Jersey was led by Brook Lopez with 23 points and 14 rebounds as it dropped its seventh straight and 18th in 19 games. The loss lowered the Nets' record for the year to a hapless 4-47.
