COLUMBUS, Ohio, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Evan Turner's 27 points Wednesday keyed 18th-ranked Ohio State's 75-62 Big Ten Conference decision against Penn State.
The Buckeyes led 36-24 at the break, but David Jackson's two free throws drew the Nittany Lions within 65-62 with 1:53 left before they folded.
Turner filled his stats sheet with 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals.
William Buford scored 19 with four rebounds, and five assists, while David Lighty scored 12 points with five rebounds for the Buckeyes (17-6, 7-3), who have beaten the Nittany Lions 12 straight times.
Talor Battle led Penn State with 24 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
Jackson added 12 points and six rebounds for the Nittany Lions (8-14, 0-10), the only Big Ten team without a conference victory.
Ohio State shot 50 percent to Penn State's 47.9.
