CALGARY, Alberta, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Mike Richards scored twice, Ray Emery blocked 18 shots and the Philadelphia Flyers shut out slumping Calgary 3-0 Monday, the Flames' 10th loss in 11 games.

The Flyers jumped ahead in the second period on Richards' 100th NHL goal and Claude Giroux made it 2-0 early in the third. Richards, who was assisted on both of his goals by Simon Gagne, scored his second with just over 2 minutes remaining in the game.

Emery's shutout was his third this season.

Calgary goalie Miikka Kiprusoff made 24 saves.

The Flames, who ended a long winless streak with a 6-1 victory over Edmonton Saturday, are 1-7-3 in their last 11 contests.
