CLEVELAND, Jan. 31 (UPI) -- Cleveland racked up 46 points in the first quarter Sunday on the way to a 114-89 rout of the Los Angeles Clippers, the Cavaliers' eighth straight win.

The Cavs had a 67-39 lead by halftime.

LeBron James led the onslaught by scoring 23 of his 32 points in the first half and adding 11 assists.

Shaquille O'Neal scored 16 with 12 rebounds, Daniel Gibson 14 with six assists and Jamario Moon 12 with five rebounds. Jawad Williams also scored 12 and Anderson Varejao scored 11 with seven rebounds.

The Cavaliers' last loss was a 97-96 setback in Utah Jan. 14.

Baron Davis led Los Angeles with 30 points and seven assists.

Eric Gordon scored 12 with four rebounds, DeAndre Jordan 11 with 13 rebounds and Craig Smith added 11 points with four rebounds for the Clippers, who have lost five of six.
