TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 29 (UPI) -- James Wisniewski scored Anaheim's only goal in regulation and delivered the game-winner in the shootout Friday, giving the Ducks a 2-1 victory over Tampa Bay.

The Lightning had a three-game winning streak snapped.

Wisniewski scored on the power play 6:36 into the second period to bring about a 1-1 tie and the contest turned into a goaltending duel between Anaheim's Jonas Hiller and Tampa Bay's Antero Niittymaki.

Both sides produced a goal during the first two rounds of the shootout, after which Hiller blocked a shot by Brandon Bochenski.

Wisniewski followed with a wrist shot that made its way through Niittymaki's pads.

Hiller made 30 saves, helping the Ducks improve to 2-3 on their season-long, six-game road trip. That journey ends Monday against Florida.

Niittymaki stopped 31 shots.
