TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Jan. 24 (UPI) -- Solomon Alabi hit two late free throws Sunday, lifting Florida State to a 68-66 ACC win over 18th-ranked Georgia Tech.
The free throws with 22.8 seconds remaining completed a 14-point, seven-rebound performance.
Chris Singleton led the winners with 23 points and seven rebounds.
Deividas Dulkys added 11 points for the Seminoles (15-4, 3-2), who have won 10 of their first 11 home games this season.
The contest was tied, 34-34, at the half, and the Seminoles rallied back from a 61-57 deficit with 6:45 left in the second stanza.
Brian Oliver led Tech with 20 points.
Iman Shumpert scored 10 with seven rebounds and four assists, while Derrick Favors added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Yellow Jackets (14-5, 3-3), who had won three of four.
They won the rebounding battle, 34-31, but could not overcome 20 turnovers or only 9-of-22 shooting on 3-pointers.
