COL BKB: Gonzaga 85, Loyola-Marymount 68

SPOKANE, Wash., Jan. 23 (UPI) -- Elias Harris had 22 points, six rebounds, and four assists Saturday, leading 10th-ranked Gonzaga to an 85-68 West Coast Conference win over Loyola-Marymount.

The 6-foot-7 freshman forward scored 11 points in Gonzaga's 43-27 second half, which followed a 42-42 halftime tie.

Harris' layup gave the Bulldogs a 67-51 advantage with 10:56 left and the Lions were done.

Matt Bouldin scored 19 with eight rebounds and four assists and Steve Gray 18 with six rebounds and four assists, while 7-foot center Robert Sacre added seven rebounds and three blocked shots for the Bulldogs (16-3, 5-0), who extended their conference winning streak to 21 games.

Vernon Teel led Loyola with 27 points, three rebounds, seven assists and three steals.

Drew Viney, the only other player in double figures, scored 20 with 10 rebounds for the Lions (10-11, 1-4), who have lost three of four.

Their 10 steals were trumped by Gonzaga's 20 assists and its 39-29 rebounding advantage.
