Vikings' Harvin still plagued by migraines

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Migraine headaches could cause Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin to miss Sunday's NFC championship game at New Orleans.

The speedy rookie from the University of Florida missed practice a second straight day Friday and the Vikings said his status against the Saints is questionable.

"He got in a base game plan on Wednesday (and) got through the kickoff return area, so we'll just see how he comes along," Vikings Coach Brad Childress told reporters. "It's less than ideal, but he played under the same circumstances (in the regular season)."

Harvin, the team's second-leading receiver and top kickoff return man, has 60 catches for 790 yards with six touchdowns, and a 27.5-yard average on 42 kickoff returns with two touchdowns.

At Florida, Harvin was a running back and is the only Gator ever with 100 yards rushing and 100 yards receiving in the same game.
