LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21 (UPI) -- Officials in charge of the Eclipse Awards announced Thursday Zenyatta would be declared the unanimous winner of the Older Female category.
When the awards were handed out in Los Angeles earlier this week, it was announced that Zenyatta had won the honor by a vote of 231-1.

It was later learned that the one dissenting vote had been cast by mistake and that the voter had intended to vote for Zenyatta in the Older Female category.
The change in voting was made official by the three sponsoring organizations of the Eclipse Awards -- the National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA), Daily Racing Form (DRF) and the National Turf Writers Association (NTWA).
