TALLAHASSEE, Fla., Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Scott Wood poured in 31 points Tuesday to spark North Carolina State to an 88-81 win over No. 25 Florida State.
The Wolfpack (12-5, 1-2 ACC) also benefited from Farnold Degand's 13 points and 12 points from Julius Mays, who was a perfect 10-for-10 from the free-throw line.

Florida State (13-4, 1-2) was led by Chris Singleton, who scored 22 points and collected eight rebounds. The Seminoles have dropped two conference games in a row after racking up seven straight wins.
Derwin Kitchen and Solomon Alabi each scored 15 points for Florida State.
