NHL: Anaheim 4, St. Louis 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Matt Beleskey's goal late in the third period proved to be the game winner Thursday in the Anaheim Ducks 4-2 win over St. Louis.

The Ducks also got goals from James Wisniewski, Bobby Ryan and Todd Marchant. Saku Koivu had two assists and Jonas Hiller had 20 saves for the Ducks, who won their second straight game after a three-game losing streak.

Barret Jackman scored both goals for the Blues -- his first two goals of the season. Chris Mason was 25-of-28 in goal for St. Louis, which lost it seventh straight game and is still looking for its first win under interim Coach Davis Payne, who took over Saturday after the team fired Andy Murray.
