NHL: Calgary 3, Nashville 1

NASHVILLE, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Miikka Kiprusoff posted 27 saves Tuesday to lead the Calgary Flames to a 3-1 win over Nashville.

David Moss, Olli Jokinen and Daymond Langkow scored goals for Calgary, which moved past Colorado into first place in the Northwest Division with its fifth straight win.

Moss broke a scoreless tie with a goal midway through the second period. Jokinen scored with 18 seconds left in the second.

The Predators got their lone goal from Patric Hornqvist, who finally put Nashville on the board with 6:15 left in the game.
