NFL: Buffalo 30, Indianapolis 7

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Ryan Fitzpatrick tossed three touchdown passes to lead Buffalo in a surprising 30-7 rout of Indianapolis at a snow-packed stadium in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Buffalo used a 17-point second quarter to build a 24-7 halftime advantage.

Fitzpatrick completed 16-of-25 passes for 155 yards without an interception.

Fred Jackson gained a career-high 212 yards on 33 carries, while Terrell Owens caught four passes for 65 yards with one touchdown for the Bills (6-10), who snapped a two-game losing streak overall, and a six-game losing streak against the Colts.

Owens' 14,951 receiving yards makes him third on the NFL's all-time list in that category.

Indy's Peyton Manning passed for 95 yards in the three series he played.

Back-up Curtis Painter was 4-of-17 for 39 yards, one interception and one fumble lost.

The Colts' lone score came on a 1-yard, first-quarter run by Mike Hart.

The Colts (14-2) lost their final two regular-season contests.
