NBA: Golden State 103, Boston 99

OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Monta Ellis scored 37 points Monday and the Golden State Warriors erased an 18-point deficit to beat Boston 103-99.

Ellis shot 15-of-26 from the field. Anthony Randolph had 18 points and nine rebounds, Anthony Morrow and Corey Maggette scored 13 points each, and CJ Watson scored 11 for the Warriors.

Rajon Rondo scored a season-high 30 points and added 15 assists for the Celtics, who had been victimized one night earlier in a buzzer-beater loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Ray Allen scored 24 points and Kevin Garnett finished with 16 points and nine rebounds for Boston, which jumped out to an early 35-17 lead before the Warriors outscored the Celtics 35-23 in the second quarter to climb back into contention.
