MIAMI, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Matt Schaub's 286 passing yards with two touchdowns Sunday keyed the Houston Texans' 27-20 win over the Miami Dolphins.

The scoring passes to Andre Johnson and Jacoby Jones helped Houston build a 27-3 halftime advantage.

Arian Foster scored once on 19 carries for 97 yards.

Kris Brown kicked two field goals, while linebacker DeMeco Ryans made 11 solo tackles for the Texans (8-7), who barely stayed alive in the AFC playoff picture with their third straight win. The Dolphins' second straight loss eliminated them from the AFC playoff chase.

Miami's Chad Henne completed 35-of-55 passes for 322 yards with one touchdown and one interception.

Lex Hilliard ran for one touchdown and caught a second. Running back Ricky Williams gained just 35 yards on 10 carries, but caught five passes for 26 yards before a third quarter shoulder injury. The Dolphins are 7-8.
