NHL: Vancouver 4, Nashville 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Daniel and Henrik Sedin both registered a goal and two assists Tuesday to lead the Vancouver Canucks to a 4-1 victory over the Nashville Predators.

Roberto Luongo made 20 saves and kept the Predators off the scoreboard until 14:36 of the third period when Patric Hornqvist dodged the shutout.

The Canucks, who outshot Nashville 36-21, scored a pair of goals in the second period to take a 2-0 lead. Steve Bernier was left uncovered in front of the goal and flipped a wrister past Dan Ellis at 6:39. Daniel Sedin scored on a power-play at 16:23 on an assist from his brother.

Sami Salo scored at 6:53 of the third period to make it 3-0. Henrik Sedin added Vancouver's fourth goal with 10:29 left in regulation on a quick pass along the rear boards from Daniel Sedin.
