SYRACUSE, N.Y., Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Fifth-ranked Syracuse got 27 points from hot-shooting freshman guard Brandon Triche Tuesday and stayed unbeaten with a 92-60 blitz of Oakland University.

Triche was 6-of-6 from 3-point range.

Wes Johnson contributed 19 points and Rick Jackson had 14 for the Orange (12-0).

Drew Maynard scored 18 points and Derick Nelson and Keith Benson had 10 each for the Golden Grizzlies (6-7).
