Ryan completed just 16-of-34 passes for 152 yards, but his offense was aided by a stingy defense.

Jason Snelling , the lone healthy running back, gained 59 yards on 16 carries.

Brent Grimes had 2 interceptions, while Matt Bryant kicked a 24-yard, first-quarter field goal for the Falcons (7-7), who had lost four of five and were eliminated from the NFC playoff picture when Dallas recorded a 24-17 win over New Orleans Saturday night.

New York's Matt Sanchez passed for 226 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.

Braylon Edwards caught a 65-yard first-quarter touchdown pass, and Thomas Jones gained 52 yards on 19 carries for the Jets (7-7), who had won three in a row.
