HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Stanley Robinson's 26 points Sunday helped 14th-ranked Connecticut turn back upstart Central Florida, 60-51.
The Huskies finally got untracked after a surprising 25-20 halftime deficit, taking the lead, 41-39 on Robinson's dunk with 9:35 left.
Jerome Dyson scored 16 with four rebounds and four assists.
Kemba Walker scored eight with eight assists.
Gavin Edwards scored five with 11 rebounds and seven blocked shots, while Robinson added five rebounds for the Huskies (7-2), who have split their last four contests.
They overcame 17 turnovers.
Marcus Jordan led UCF with 13 points and four rebounds.
A.J. Tyler scored 12, while Dave Diakite compiled 13 rebounds for the Knights (7-4), losers in three in three of last four games.
They shot only 34.9 percent from the floor.
