ST. LOUIS, Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Two goals each from Jeff Halpern and Steven Stamkos Friday helped Tampa Bay end a six-game losing streak with a 6-3 victory over St. Louis.
It was the first road victory for the Lightning since they won at Atlanta on Nov. 22.

Martin St. Louis and Kurtis Foster also scored for Tampa Bay and Antero Niittymaki made 23 saves for his sixth win in 18 appearances.
Chris Mason allowed five goals on 23 shots in what was the third St. Louis loss in four games.
Stamkos gave Tampa Bay the lead for good at 2-1 by scoring on a slap shot 36 seconds into the second period. He added an empty-net score with 58 seconds left in the third, his 20th goal of the season.
