NHL: Chicago 4, Tampa Bay 0

CHICAGO, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Chicago goaltender Antti Niemi turned in his third shutout of the season Sunday, blocking 18 shots in a 4-0 Blackhawks win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Patrick Kane, Ben Eager, Marian Hossa and Jonathan Toews scored for Chicago in the opener of a five-game homestand.

Hossa also had an assist and Brent Seabrook contributed two assists for the Blackhawks.

Antero Nittymaki was credited with 25 saves for Tampa Bay, which has dropped four straight games and eight of nine.
