COL BKB: Michigan State 69, Citadel 56

CHARLESTON, S.C., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Kalin Lucas put up 17 points and added six assists for No. 14 Michigan State, which used a 14-4 run Monday to pull away to a 69-56 win over The Citadel.

Raymar Morgan had 11 points and 10 rebounds, and Draymond Green and Chris Allen scored nine points each for the Spartans (7-2).

Michigan State's second-half run led to a double-digit lead and the Spartans stayed well ahead the rest of the way.

Cameron Wells scored 16 points for the Bulldogs (6-5).
