NHL: Phoenix 3, Anaheim 2 (OT)

ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- James Vandermeer's second goal of the game Sunday, a shot from the point with 3:42 remaining in overtime, gave Phoenix a 3-2 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

Robert Lang assisted on both of Vandermeer's goals in the Coyotes' second straight win.

Anaheim's Ryan Getzlaf opened the scoring with a wrist shot in the second period.

Vandermeer tied it, also with a wrist shot, and Matthew Lombardi scored to put Phoenix ahead in the third.

Bobby Ryan tipped in a shot to tie it for the Ducks with 1:54 left, setting up the extra session.

Winning goalie Ilya Bryzgalov turned away 26 shots. Jean-Sebastien Giguere was credited with 23 saves for Anaheim, which had won its previous three contests.
