NHL: Dallas 4, Tampa Bay 3 (OT)

DALLAS, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Tom Wandell scored a goal in overtime Saturday and the Dallas Stars beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3.

Wandell took a sweet pass from the circle by Loui Ericksson and beat Mike Smith for the game winner 2:12 into the extra period.

Brenden Morrow, Stephame Robidas and Jere Lehtinen also scored for the Stars in support of Alex Auld, who made 25 saves in goal.

Smith made 34 saves on 38 shots. Steven Stamkos, Jeff Halpern and Paul Szczechura scored for the Lightning, who had won two of their previous three games.

After a scoreless first period, Szczechura put the Lightning ahead 1-0 with a goal at 6:18 of the second period. Dallas responded with three goals, including Morrow's 10th of the season, which gave the Stars a 3-1 lead in the third.

The Lightning quickly erased the deficit with scores from Stamkos at 15:06 and Halpern 47 seconds later.
