After a scoreless first period, Zach Parise scored New Jersey's first goal in the second period when he jammed the puck past Rask in the middle of a crowd in front of the net.

Blake Wheeler tied it in the opening seconds of the third period and also scored in the first round of the shootout.

But Parise also scored a shootout goal for New Jersey, setting the stage for Langenbrunner.

Martin Brodeur finished with 32 saves for the Devils, setting the all-time record for minutes played by an NHL goalie in the process, and Rask turned aside 36 shots.

The Devils have won two straight and are now 10-2-1 on the road. The Bruins are 0-1-2 after a 4-0-0 road trip.
