ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Third-period scores by Petteri Nokelainen and Teemu Selanne gave Anaheim a two-goal lead Wednesday and the Ducks held on to defeat Carolina 3-2.
Carolina remained stuck on five victories for the season, tied with Toronto for the fewest in the NHL.

Nokelainen put a slapshot past Manny Legace with 7:17 to go in the third, giving Anaheim a 2-1 lead.. Selanne tipped in a shot by Saku Koivu with 1:32 for an insurance goal.
Selanne's tally proved vital when Brandon Sutter scored on a slapshot with 53 seconds to go.
Jean-Sebastien Giguere made 27 saves to pick up his second victory of the season.
