COL BKB: Michigan 83, Creighton 76

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Manny Harris scored 20 points, including a key 3-pointer in overtime Thursday, leading 15th-ranked Michigan to an 83-76 win over Creighton.

The victory was in a first-round match-up at the Old Spice Classic in Orlando.

Creighton trailed 37-34 at the half, but battled to a 69-69 tie when Antoine Young sank an uncontested layup with less than one second left in regulation, forcing the overtime.

Laval Lucas-Perry scored 18 with three rebounds, DeShawn Sims 16 with 11 rebounds, Zack Novak 14 with three rebounds, while Harris added 11 assists and nine rebounds for the unbeaten Wolverines (3-0), who face either Marquette or Xavier Friday.

Justin Carter's 21 points and eight rebounds led Creighton.

Darryl Ashford scored 16 with 11 rebounds, and Kenny Lawson Jr. added 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists for the 2-2 Bluejays.
