NHL: Pittsburgh 3, Florida 2 (OT)

SUNRISE, Fla., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Sidney Crosby's power-play goal in overtime Monday gave the Pittsburgh Penguins a 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers.

Crosby knocked in the winner from the right side, assisted by Evgeni Malkin and Bill Guerin.

Michael Rupp had pulled the Penguins into a tie with 2:32 left in regulation, setting up the overtime period.

Pascal Dupuis also scored, Malkin had two assists and Marc-Andre Fleury turned away 19 shots for Pittsburgh, which has won four of five games.

Nathan Horton and Keith Ballard registered goals for Panthers, who had won five of their previous six contests.

Tomas Vokoun stopped 42 shots for Florida.
