NHL: Pittsburgh 6, Boston 5

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Pittsburgh scored the tying goal with less than a second to play in regulation Saturday, then went on to beat the Boston Bruins 6-5 in overtime.

Bill Guerin knocked in the tying tally with 0.4 seconds to play in regulation for the Penguins, who snapped a four-game losing streak.

Pascal Dupuis, who also scored in the first period, beat Tim Thomas on a backhander off an assist from Jordan Staal 1:24 into the extra period to win it for Pittsburgh.

Jay McKee and Mark Eaton also scored for Pittsburgh. Center Evgeni Malkin, who returned to the Pens' lineup after two weeks on the injured list, notched three assists.

Brent Johnson had 28 saves on 33 shots for Pittsburgh. Thomas turned in 27 saves.

Boston had a goal and an assist each from Blake Wheeler, David Krejic and Derek Morris. Marco Strum also scored for the Bruins.
