STARKVILLE, Miss., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Greg McElroy and Mark Ingram accounted for four touchdowns Saturday, leading second-ranked Alabama to a 31-3 SEC rout of Mississippi State.

Alabama led 14-0 at the half and 17-0 before Derek DePasqual's 34-yard field goal with 10:35 left in the third quarter prevented a potential shutout by one of the nation's best defensive units.

McElroy completed 13-of-18 passes for 192 yards with two touchdown passes, while Mark Barron had two of the three interceptions for the unbeaten Alabama (10-0, 7-0 SEC), which will face No. 1 Florida at the SEC title game on Dec. 5.

MSU quarterback Tyson Lee passed for just 99 yards with two interceptions and was sacked twice.

Anthony Dixon rushed for 81 yards and added 59 receiving yards for the Bulldogs (4-6, 2-4), who have split their last four games.
