NBA: Portland 93, Memphis 79

MEMPHIS, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Brandon Roy notched 20 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 16 as the Portland Trail Blazers dispatched the Memphis Grizzlies 93-79 Tuesday.

Greg Oden and Steve Blake each chipped in with 14 points apiece for the Trail Blazers, who continued a hot streak with their third win in five games.

The Grizzlies, who were led by Marc Gasol's 20 points and eight rebounds, were reeling from the controversy surrounding guard Allen Iverson. The game marked what was supposed to be Iverson's home debut with Memphis, but after a winless five-game road trip, the likely Hall of Famer embarked on an indefinite leave of absence and is said to be considering retirement.

The Grizzlies had been starting Mike Conley over Iverson. Conley was 3-of-10 for seven points in the Memphis loss.
