NBA: Portland 107, Minnesota 84

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Greg Oden delivered his best game of the season with 18 points and 11 rebounds Wednesday, helping Portland pull away for a 107-84 win over Minnesota.

The Trail Blazers defeated the Timberwolves for the 10th straight time and won their fourth straight overall, getting 16 points from Martell Webster and 15 from Rudy Fernandez. Both players came off the bench.

For the third straight season, Minnesota has gotten off to a 1-8 start. The Timberwolves, who were coming off a 146-105 smashing at the hands of Golden State, were led by Jonny Flynn with 15 points.

Portland trailed by five heading into second period, during which the Trail Blazers outscored Minnesota by 13. Portland then hit 16-of-21 shots from the field in the third period to take a 24-point advantage heading into the final period.

The 10-game winning streak against Minnesota is Portland's longest against any team.
