NEW ORLEANS, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Drew Brees passed for four touchdowns and the New Orleans Saints stayed unbeaten Sunday with a 48-27 whipping of the New York Giants.
Brees completed 15 straight passes during one stretch and finished 23-of-30 for 369 yards.
The TD passes were for 1 yard to Jeremy Shockey, 36 yards to Robert Meachem and 12 yards to both Lance Moore and Marques Colston.
New Orleans (5-0) also got touchdowns on short runs by Mike Bell, Reggie Bush and Heath Evans.
Eli Manning was 14-of-31 for 178 yards and a touchdown with one interception for the Giants (5-1). The scoring toss was a 15-yarder to Mario Manningham.
David Carr, who replaced Manning late in the game, passed for 72 yards, including a 37-yard scoring strike to Hakeem Nicks.
Ahmad Bradshaw ran 10 yards for a New York score.
